Christian County, Missouri

Living in Ozark, MO

Ozark is the Christian County seat, set along the Finley River on US-65 between Springfield and Branson, with a historic square and plenty of room to spread out.

Living in Ozark

Ozark offers an easy US-65 commute north to Springfield or south toward Branson and Table Rock Lake. The Finley River runs right through town. Finley River Park is a local favorite, and the restored Ozark Mill at Finley Farms has given the riverfront a popular gathering spot.

The historic square and the Christian County courthouse give Ozark a small-town center, while newer neighborhoods and shopping have grown along the highway.

Buying in Ozark

Ozark has a wide range of homes, from established neighborhoods near the square to newer subdivisions and homes on larger lots at the edge of town. It’s often a good fit for buyers who want Christian County schools and a bit more space than they’d find closer to Springfield.

If a property is near the Finley River or one of its creeks, Sam will help you check the floodplain maps and ask about flood insurance before you make an offer, not after.

Land and acreage around Ozark

Head east or south of Ozark and the terrain gets hillier and more wooded. That’s beautiful, but it affects building sites, driveways and septic systems. Sam knows how to evaluate rolling Ozarks ground: where a house pad makes sense, how a steep driveway will handle an icy February morning, and what a perc test is likely to show.

Selling in Ozark

Buyers in Ozark come from Springfield, Branson and out of state, so presentation and online photos matter. Sam will help you price against recent Christian County sales and show off what makes your property different, whether that’s a big yard, a view, or a short walk to the river.
